St Cecilia's is a stunning ground floor holiday apartment atop the cliffs in the beautiful sea-side village of Mundesley. Just 100 yards from the cliff, this Victorian building offers sea views from both the bedroom and living room and with the cliff path being just a few minutes walk. At the centre of Mundesley is a Blue Flag beach.
Built in 1890 as a music school (St. Cecilia being the patron saint of music), this wonderful building has seen many residents, the last owners being the Tara Rokpa trust who used it as a therapy centre for relaxation. St Cecilia's is certainly relaxing - especially the hexagonal turret area that looks out to sea providing a light and airy space in the living room.
Entrance Vestibule
Framed by a virginia creeper, the large front door leads to an enclosed entrance vestibule with plenty of space for coats, shoes, and other outdoor things. The inner door leads to the kitchen and all other rooms lead from here.
Kitchen
Completely refitted in 2007, the kitchen offers all mod-cons including a Gas Hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, washer/dryer, toaster and the essential kettle. A sea view is available through the living room window.
Living/dining room
Double doors lead from the Kitchen making the whole area very open. Quality lounge furniture ensures your comfort whilst the widescreen TV with Freeview Digibox plus a DVD player and Video. A chess board is also available along with reading material and CD, Tape and Radio. The drop leaf dining table is hand made from mahogany and can be opened to comfortably accomodate four dinner guests. There's two sofas, one being a double sofabed with enough space around it to have it left open and made up as a bed all day long if required.
The hexagonal turret area provides a wonderful place to sit whilst you relax gazing out to sea and the high Victorian ceiling with its plaster cornicing really adds to the sense of space in this room.
Bedroom (double)
This large room features a huge full width bay window (11 feet aproximately) offering sea-views to one side. Built-in storage and an antique wardrobe provide ample accomodation for your holiday clothing and personal effects.
Bathroom
Completely refitted in 2007, the bathroom offers a large "P" shaped shower-bath with curved glass door, basin and water saving dual flush toilet. Inset halogen lighting floods the bathroom with lights and a dimmer system allows you to adjust the light to suit your mood - perhaps an invigorating shower or a relaxing soak.
Heating
St Cecilia's is serviced by gas radiator central heating.
Each radiator is fitted with thermostatic valves so you can control
the temperature in each room.

- Disabled access: This appartment is all on one level but has a step up to the front door. The minimum door width in the apartment is 32 inches (bedroom)
- Parking: On-street parking immediately outside the property should not present any difficulty as there are no parking restrictions.
